As the Site Identification Desktop Researcher, you will play an essential role in determining future locations for our water desalination projects in the country. Specifically, the role will be responsible for collecting, analyzing and reporting on data from a variety of secondary and primary sources to evaluate a project’s viability. whether projects should be advanced through the development process or disqualified from consideration. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Identify communities that face challenges accessing affordable clean water.
Perform desktop research to evaluate whether communities are good candidates for Solar Water Farms based on factors such as water scarcity, price and quality.
Identify key informants within target communities, make contact, and administer phone-based surveys.
Maintain a well-organized and thorough database of all data collected.
Work with county water resources authorities and others to obtain hydrogeological data including borehole reports and hydrogeological studies.
Work diligently and rapidly to advance or disqualify projects to meet internal performance targets.
Report research findings to the Director of Solar Water Farm Expansion on a regular basis.
Assist in the continuous improvement of site identification processes and criteria.
Occasionally conduct field surveys of households, water vendors, and other stakeholders as needed.
Any other tasks or projects that may be required.
